Shah Rukh defeated Salman Khan at the box office in 2006; will history repeat itself?
The two Khans clashed at the BO in 2006 and it was Gauri Khan’s hubby dearest who had won the battle. So will history repeat itself after 10 years? Vote and tell us…
The whole world knows that Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are back to being friends. And while some people still can’t stop talking about their dostana, yesterday a piece of information came in which I am sure must have changed the dynamics between SRK and Salman’s fans. Yes, I am talking about the big box office clash which will take place between King Khan and the Being Human next year during Eid. Both Sultan and Raees are going to release on the same day in 2016. And this box office war will certainly be the biggest event without a doubt. But before these two superstars take on each other, let’s walk down the memory lane and see what happened the last time these two actors clashed at the BO.
In 2006, Shah Rukh starrer Don released alongside Bhai’s Jaan-E-Mann on October 20. While the former turned out to be the fifth highest grossing film of that year, the latter failed to pack a solid punch at the box office. In fact, Don which also starred Priyanka Chopra and Arjun Rampal fared well overseas and was declared a blockbuster. But sadly Salman’s romantic comedy didn’t create the same magic and was declared a flop.
